i have created this variation of the recent drawing i did of my 500D camera created 100% in photoshop with no photo renders. around 200+ layers.
this is a version of just the body without the battery grip.

thanks everyone 
i just want to say - i started this creating basic shapes using channels to build the simple shapes. gradually added simple shading, lighting and mid tones. then using channels again, created the shapes of each element like buttons, lens element shapes etc.
over a period of time enhanced the realism of the tones and detail. it is such amazing joy creating an image of such depth but wow it is mentally and physically tiring but the end result makes it all worth it
alotta layers, alotta work. magnificent result. i get tired just drawing stick figures in ps. your patience and dedication to these images is amazing. =)
