Taken today at the flypast of the 75th anniversary over the Derwent Dam.

Bloody marvelous site and sound, lest we forget.

Super image of a great aircraft! The black and white version is so iconic!
You were in absolutely the right place at the right time for this shot!
Well done but I am a little jealous!

I'm not sure what the modification is aiming to achieve, and as its creator hasn't bothered to write anything, we may never know. I can see it's an attempt at an HDR approach, but I prefer Gavin's original by far, not least because it's no doubt exactly how he saw it on the day. The modification has removed all detail in the trees in the foreground, and a fair bit of detail elsewhere too, so it's Gavin's original for me.
