Taken early October during the NYMR autumn steam gala the 63395 was working hard up the bank from Grosmont to Goathland.
V1 is more of a square crop
V2 I have crop from the bottom
I would like to hear which you prefer

OK just to be awkward - I definitely prefer V2, it's more dynamic, more powerful, it's bearing down on us. And it makes that steam proportionally much more important.

Great capture, Glynnis...lots of lovely smoke there! I think the composition's better in V1, so it has to be this for me.

A photo-review of your latest works
You know how to surprise, really.
I'm talking about the France pictures.
I esp. liked the detail of a grenade in the right high boot of one of a 'German soldiers.’
Of course, I saw it large and enjoyed even more.
Now, the leaves. The colors are fantastic.
And traditionally powerful train photos.

Try the crop by putting the far line into the left corner!!!! Then V2 will jump....
