Another shot of the fab wee Alix - my friend Gem's 13 year old sister. I could take pics of her all day long. For this I dragged her into an abandoned cottage (proceeded to put my foot through a floorboard and bruise everywhere but kept Alix in the safe bits) She's wearing an old nighty - was going for a darker theme this time. It was rather dark so had to crank the iso up but I like the grain here. As always your advice most welcome, thanks for looking, Rachel

Yes just natural light - the ruin has no roof - only some beams but is heavily covered in foliage, and was pretty dark so had to up the iso to 500. Thought a flash would be too harsh, and don't have a reflector. Should really get one... Thanks for the comments everyone - am so glad it's liked *

Love the shot and the effect you are after.
You have most light on the face already, but I would be tempted to add a dark vignette so that there is more emphasis on it.
I would also darken the toenails and thumbnail ....... they look a bit too bright and manicured for the surroundings

Thank you so much for the support on this everyone. I found myself overwhelmed and delighted this morning to discover I'd got my first HC, and am especially happy it's on this pic, as I really liked it and Alix is my favourite wee model
