First of all my apologies, find it quite difficult to comment and surf while sitting on the edge of a hotel bed. Especially if we go out every night Smile
I will catch up back home, I promise.

This handsome chap was in the mangrove jungle in Kuala Selangor, couldn't get any closer with my 400mm. I have no idea who he is and in spite of visiting an aviary yesterday, looking around for a bird book and some useless hour on the web I am still no wiser. Francis also has no ID.
Andrew! help!!
Glad I found it a dollarbird is his name. Just bought a book

Like #1 better. Never seen this species before, it actually has slight blue tones in its feather.

Lol...glad you found out what it is, Annette, 'cos I would've been of no help Blush

My dad would've known, probably, 'cos I remember the name 'dollarbird' from him a long time ago and he's the one who's good at bird names...and spotting them!

Excellent shot of it in V1 Smile

As Michaela said, priceless expression in V2 Grin It's like, "Hmm...did I remember to turn off the stove?"
