It's THAT castle !!!!!!............Eilean Donan Castle at Loch Duich.......who can resist taking a few shots of this inspiring location....I couldn't !!
I've presented it as a sepia toned mono, as the original colour version doesn't have too much colour in it ?, due to the back-lighting.......but
I'll upload the colour one as a version tomorrow......but I submit this mono as the main one !!
Grateful thanks for the response to 'Objet-de-Mer'.......glad you liked it !!!

great composition - my mind is running riot here - what is that in the foreground (not the pebbles) looks like a dead animal with long legs
I can see an eye to![]()
Beautiful place and very popular with photographers, works well in mono.

Trev.
The lighting is excellent Keith. You'll be hard pushed to beat this with colour.

Wonderful view.
The low angle composition is great.
I like the fg detail and it works well in the sepia

The old tree root washed ashore is a fine anchor for your visit to the castle.

I like both but marginally prefer the colour version.
Judging by the vote count everyone likes it Keith and so do I ![]()

A great view point with so much to take in. Which is why it's taken me so long to vote ![]()
