Morning all. Actually feeling a tiny bit sad today. Although have been finished work for 6 weeks now, this is actually my last day employed by NHS. As of tomorrow I am officially retired. Took this shot a few months ago when I was taking shots of the hospital for the Final Chronicle magazine to be published later this year when the hospital closes. This is known as the main building. I have spent 28 years of my 36 year career working here. Although laterally, I no longer enjoyed my work, overall I have many happy memories of this place. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

A memory which you can keep or wash away, don't leave the contacts to others. If you have friends, keep in touch don't leave it to others, because they'll be busy working still. You've worked hard & long so enjoy the fruits of that labour and get out in the fresh air, you're lucky to have a hobby to get you out and exercised.
4 years and not counting since I escaped.

A stunning view from the bushes. It makes you want to jump out and consider all the better.
Regards, Oleg.
A lovely shot to add to a host of memories for you Moira, knowing it's all behind you now is both poignant and relieving, I'm sure you'll enjoy life once you get fully used to your new status, I know I did....and still do 21 years, one month and six days since I last earned a wage!
Rgds., Jim
