Somerset levels are just one location to see this spectacle. This flock was enormous and the sound of wingbeats phenomenal !!!! Natures wonder.
WOW WOW WOW!!
And WOW again!
More than justa flock by the looks Ron a sight to see and a sound to hear. I'd do something about cleaning the sensor though?
a great moment indeed!
Much bigger than any I've seen round here, quite amazing. You can feel the weight of the sky here.
We see pictures of these flocks of starlings a lot but I've not thought about the sound they make before. It must be deafening going on the noise the smaller flock in my garden make at feeding/bathing time.
Never seen so many
Must have been amazing to watch. Paul
One of natures wonders. Great capture
Fantastic - we went there once to see this and it didn't happen (wrong sort of weather!!). I love the noise too - all that chattering. Brilliant capture.
Another superb wildlife image Ron.
An amazing sight as ever superbly captured. I must get out to the North Pier on a calmer day to get the murmuration there.
Wow! Simply amazing! I cannot imagine seeing and hearing so many birds at once. .............Sandy
....count the number of feet, & divide by two !!!!!!!
