Another view from Craigie Fort in late October 2010, across the lower reaches of L. Lomond and Inchfad island towards the village of Luss on the far shore (dead centre) and Beinn Eich (half shadowed mountain centre left).

Details: ISO 200, 1/400 sec. at f/9.0 with Exp. Bias of -0.67.

Thanks to all who found my wife's bears of interest.....both she and I are delighted at your response.

Ronnie.

There;s always lots to see on the Bonnie Banks, I must have passed Loch Lomond a hundred times going north, always have a look at the summit as I pass. It's a big chunk of rock with the tiny buildings at Rowardennan below.(not in this image)

The colours and light seem especially gorgeous to me today. Not sure whether that's down to non-stop white all around here, but suspect it's your skills in capturing yet another stunning landscape!

Viewed large this is a truly delightful shot Ronnie, that fully lives up to your choice of title for it. See on the BBC News site that the A82 has been blocked today in the Loch Lomond area, not sure if it's because of snow , accidents, or more likely jackknifed lorries, also that Glasgow airport was closed for a while, and your part of Glasgow got a mention!
