This dog is the friend of a woman who cares for the fishing boats for hire. They have been together so
long can almost read eachothers minds. The day this photo was taken he had hurt his hind leg and was
resting up, but still listening for every move or sound his owner made. A wonderful animal.

A very fine natural portrait of this fellow. He looks so much like a dog I had years ago, it flooded my mind with memories of a fine companion.

A nice shot Collette, and welcome to EPZ.

A Dubliner born and bred, I moved to Canada in 1982. I go back occasionally, and it certainly is an expensive place to live. But that wa s also the cae in 1982 when we emigrated.

You have a nice set of shots in your portfilio. Try the Critique Gallery for good feedback and tips that can help you improve. For example, i this shot, you used max aperture, its better, if you have the ability with the light, to stop down one or two below the max for better resolution and edge to edge sharpness.

Enjoy the site,

regards

Willie

Chris, funny! the more I get to know animals the less I like people lol! Animals are so easy to love and return that love.
I hope I didn't make you sad with the picture.

Brings back memories... I had a collie for 16 years. Best dog you can have, total single-minded devotion. This one's a beauty.

Thank you for your kind comments. Looking back now, it is not the best photo but, the dog is just the same, a friend,
faithful and I love him.

Thank you friends for commenting on my devoted pet. I am sorry to say that he had an accident and didn't survive. However, he was killed instantly so suffered no pain. Love and best wishes.
