I spotted this hat and dress on a hanger whilst walking around Positano, ITALY. Obviously I thought it was so pretty and cleverly thought out in it's arrangement. In CS I changed to B/W and erased to achieve the history on the model and gaussian blurred the background.

Well seen and very nicely done. Great idea to have made the background (which seems to have been rather intrusive) b & w, giving pride of place to the pretty colours of the hat and clothing.

Great shot and beautifully manipulated. I'd love to be there right now, dinner at Chez Black's, bottle of wine.......Don

Nicely done Pam to show off that hat with all it's trimmings.
Good way of disguising cluttered backgrounds.
You've blurred very well also.

From the thumbnail, I thought you had taken a picture of the back of a lady wearing a hatGrin.
It makes an attractive image, and you have worked wonders with the background.
