A group of giraffes taken in the South Luangwa Valley, Zambia. As I mentioned on my last upload, this species does not have black markings on the legs and these photos show this more clearly. I have cropped the image to make it panoramic - V2 shows the original image. I'm told the collective noun for a group of giraffes is a 'journey' and the name for a singleton a 'tower'. V3 shows another group feeding.
Many thanks to both Lillian and Brian65 for their UAs on my last upload. I was thrilled - the first UAs I've received and on the same day too! A great morale boost prior to an operation in hospital yesterday. Back home now and hope to be spending more time on epz than previously![]()

The single giraffe on the right with the group looking on makes a lovely composition with lots of humorous reasons/stories.
