It's actually the surface sand blowing towards the camera. An optical illusion and wonderful to watch at the time Moira.

And lovely light you found Dougie. What a tremendous effect the sand blowing has. A good capture indeed. So subtle but yet so exciting.

Off soon to judge gardens localy for the best garden of 2008 competition. Unfortunately it is about to Hiss down and it's blowing a minor gale.
