It was nice to see some sun at last, so seized the moment, and rushed to a location I have driven past a few times and thought an image would work here given the right conditions. The light only lasted for a minute or so before the clouds closed in putting an end to what was becoming a great sunset.

Colours and DoF are lovely!
If I were to make a constructive comment, it would be the image lacks a focal point to anchor the viewer's eye, leaving it roaming about and unable to settle. I wonder if your admirable location scouting could set you up a different view, perhaps with a tree or a barn in a field for the next opportunity like this?

Thanks all for the comments, and thank you Al for the constructive advice. I do agree with you that it does need a focal point, and have been searching to no avail so far. With all the fields we have in Oxfordshire you would think one would have a tree or barn in it!
