Today, I have uploaded a couple of other versions of College lake bug life starting with another brighter Common Blue and the courting Damselflies in typical position.

Not sure where the sun has gone today, but would really like the heatwave that was promised to start ASAP as I visit the 'Eye' this afternoon! Nonetheless, it should be fun as I snap away at a different kind of species, Londonites and Tourist Horribilis! What joy to be had... Grin Smile Can you tell I don't like London very much?? Grin

Whatever you're doing today, hope it's a good one Smile

A quite extraordinary pair of macro/close up photographs Loren, in which you have managed to captured the gorgeous colours and immense detail in the rather beautiful Little Blue, and this rather intimate pair of Blue Damsels, so very well indeed.

Was up there again last night Smile... more night time shots!! London's alright, bit overcrowded with the tourists in these olympic weeks but they do thin out in the evening.

Not your usual fare but fine insect images, Loren.

Love both images. #2 for me. With #1 a narrower depth of field may have helped retain more detail from foreground to background.
