Another image from The Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye... the drop on this fall is possibly the tallest drop along the cascades.. The image does not really show it to its full "wow" potential.

Jeanie, love your dog and this image is superb photography..........Regards ...... John
It may not show it to its biggest wow value, but for me I love this pov. The light and colouring is outstanding and the way you have framed the subject with the stormy sky over the hills in the background to offset that light is head and shoulders above the standard type of waterfall photograph. Definitely in my short list.
James
It's pretty high on the Wow factor for me Jeanie, and suits this moody rendition. The Black Cuillin and the little mountain stand nicely by as the falls take centre stage. Always worth the hike across the glen to get up to here.
Dougie
Superb Jeanie. Beautifully composed and you have balanced the exposures in camera or post capture perfectly IMO.
Derek
Many thanks indeed James, Dougie, Derek and Keith. ![]()
very little work indeed in post-capture Derek...just had to turn it a bit as it was a bit wonky but if you saw the edge I was stood on, and how steep the drop was ... (well you can, here lol).... you will understand why I didn't worry tooooo much about a slightly wonky tripod level at the time
Pete thank you so much for the HC!!
