Had to travel an hour to get these..nothing in Surrey...wind blowing, little sun
and two Kites flying over head!!! and the company of two ladies with the same ambition....
getting poppies! as they die off too fast and are such a pleasure to see.
V1 and V2 ..poppy fields in the breeze
V3 Ann (pluckyfilly) who showed us where they were..thank you Ann
V4 Barb (barbanna) sorry sis, you didn't want this did you? but it is softened as well.
Taken with the 500mm lens as went back to car to fetch as the Kite were so low
...Knew it when returned.....gone! but I think it has done a good job isolating some poppies, and friends

Nice set of poppies Lillian , I like the rose amongst the wildflowers, such a smile. I cheat when I shoot them I use my angle finder and don't have to bend down using my old knees.

An excellent set Lilian, I bet Ann is pleased with v3 it's a smashing picture of her amongst the poppies. I haven't seen a sight like this in a number of years now, there are very few poppy fields round my way
