This is the room number of the hospital room my grandma died in. The photo is symbolic to me. The shadows represent our uncertainties and fears of death, and the light coming from above represents the hope we have of life after death and a reunion.

Hello, Ryan. The use of light and shade in this image is very dramatic, and the warm tones reflect the warmth in your heart for your grandmother. You have also used perspective and strong lines to full effect, and there is some nice texture on the wall as well. It gives me the feeling of strength, and yet the inclusion of the like-toned flower adds a softness to it, an excellent feature. Since this photo is symbolic to you, I didn't want to do too much in a modification, but just tried to lighten and enhance the flower because, although it blended in with the scene perfectly, I wanted to give it more significance. I hope you find it acceptable.
Pamela.
