4 images for Mick {"mikbee"} from the Greenbank Garden, a National Trust for Scotland property to the south of Glasgow.

V 1: Although I know Mick's clear preference for floral imagesWink, I still felt the need for the rusty pump to feature as V 1.
V 2: Water garden, water fed in from the pump and trough in V 1.
V 3: Gateway from the lawns to the Garden itself.
V 4: Greenbank House

Many thanks to all who voted for and commented on my "National Trust" rose shot.......very much appreciated.

A grotty pump Ronnie and it still works too.
I like the ''sink'' here to go with it too.
All that is missing is a kitchen wench with all hands to the pump !!
Good shots, and of course you will know my favourite one !!
Mick.

I have to agree, V1 is something special, and I imagine would be Mikbee's choice too - the other shots simply aren't grotty enough for him !

Nice set of images from this NT house Ronnie, slightly different hostory to this one than the usual wealthy merchant made good from the Colonies. Seems this baker bought it and lost it too.
The image with the bfrren weed on the pond is unusual and usually would be removed to keep the water clean for fish, maybe there's no fish in there?

Surprised as I have never heard of this house and gardens. Love that entraceway which is so inviting, but somewhat to my surprise, as I am no fan of rust, V1 is actually my favourite today.

A fine set of captures Ronnie, you've picked up the metallic texture well in no1 love the subject no2 is a beautiful pea soup, a sea of green, no3 is a lovely shot with lupins standing guard at the gates, no4's clean lines is beautifully captured with its immaculate lawn, love those ornate turrets, well done on this set.

Crackin shots Ronnie, I just paid 1500 Euros a few months ago for a new pump for my well (80.3 meters deep) so I think that one might do the job rather well, if you don't mind the pun, Wink although I do like V4,Wink

Jack.
