A Moment Of Peace

Another from Sundays visit to Chester Zoo. Taken in the Chimpanzee enclosure,this rather peaceful portrait of an older chimp enjoying a moment to herself amongst the noise and chaos that was being created by a very mischievious youngster.

Originally shot in colour I converted the RAW file to black and white,added a layer with some Gaussian blur and finally a lighting effect so as to concentrate the eye on the chimps face. I like the gentle mood of this image............I hope you do too
