The last in the Atlantic Grey Seal (Halichoerus grypus) birth series, with the pup settling down to rest and dry off, having successfully suckled for the first time. Again a full frame capture.

Many thanks as always for your support of my last upload Smile

They both look exhausted from the trauma of birth...an amazing capture...your series has been delightful.

A beautiful image Sylvia, you've captured this tender moment perfectly. I've thoroughly enjoyed viewing this series and Tomcat will be hard pressed to match or even better this when he visits Donna Nook tomorrow!
