Hi Each

Much too wet to go out and take pictures yesterday so I resorted to the indoor studio, otherwise known as the dining table. This is my first attempt at focus slicing/stacking (you have a lot to answer for Ade Osman!) and is a composite of 27 images. The subject, which may not be immediately obvious, is a lavender flower plucked from my garden in the rain.

I don't honestly get this stacking thing 27 photo's to get one! I feel it defeats the object, I know the fuji HS20EXR takes three photo's each time and combines them for the best image, plus a 30 zoom and great macro, at least I can take a couple of shots and go on to some thing else, not being technical minded where the camera is concerned plus the time factor, OK your photo is great but a lot of work from the sound of it, nice one good detail like it, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

From little acorns, Gerry.... I'd have preferred a darker background, but the stacking works well.
