This is a very fine monochrome composition with a full range of tones but I can't help but be curious as how the art work looks in colour.

B&W works well, concentrates attention on those surface patterns. I suspect that a blue sky and green foliage would be distracting in the colour version - I wonder if this could possibly be enhanced by lightening the sky a bit? Good to see you around, I was wondering what you were up to!

It's an intriguing sculpture which works very well in mono for the reasons Moira has expressed.
