A pity, because that is what is missing. A subject. You are just a touch over exposed, most noticeable in the brighter areas. Half a stop less.

Yes all that's missing is the pretty girl in the red or even here a yellow dress!
Auto settings don't always get the best results - hence the reason we try to take control
by learning to use the creative modes.
Was the macro lens a choice or did you have that on your camera at the time?
The experts can probably advice better than me on this one but I think your kit lens would have served you better here.

Thank you Kate the lens is not the best choice but my kit lens was a Pancake not the best Choice either! I did find a file pic on my computer of a fairy in a yellow dress so she will have to do.
