Yes it works quite well. Partly it's the slightly eerie glow. Partly it's the height of the frame, though I'd prefer a bit narrower. The height leads the eye up along the zig-zag of the path - Follow the not-quite-yellow brick road... ; to that hut, just peeping round the corner. A modern gingerbread house with a witch?
I might have a bit of fun stretching this, not sure if it would work.

Hi Torsten, the image is well exposed and as good detail, however I am struggling to find a point of interest and the road appears to lead out of the image, maybe something or someone seated on the bench or walking towards the hut would help.
