One from a year or three back and before the tree blew down in the winter storms. Never processed this one before as the light broke very quickly when setting up so it was taken without filters and needed processing, so got overlooked initially.

Just off to make dinner, catch up in a bit ... cheers for popping in!!!

Paul

A cracking image which suits the panoramic format really well. I love the light, the dramatic sky and the way you've composed this. The thumbnails don't seem to show panos off to their best advantage somehow (maybe because they lose so much impact when shrunk that small Smile) and I suspect they tend to get overlooked, but at full size this is a stunner.
Regards
Anna

Absolutely right Anna ... panos do tend to get slightly overlooked because of their smaller footprint in the thumbnails ... won't stop me posting them from time to time though Smile

Cheers all,
Paul

Agree with all the positive stuff above, but to me it feels like it needs a CCW tweak.

Cheers and optically you could be right Stuart, but if I remember rightly there is a little rise to the left [towards the hills] - the pano crop probably accentuates it a little more though!!!

Nah, you're bang on to point it out and I actually did straighten it at one point until I went back and looked at my others from the day ... then decided to leave it alone as it must be right Smile

Cheers,
Paul

Nice photo.
Greetings,

Murat
