One from a year or three back and before the tree blew down in the winter storms. Never processed this one before as the light broke very quickly when setting up so it was taken without filters and needed processing, so got overlooked initially.
Just off to make dinner, catch up in a bit ... cheers for popping in!!!

A cracking image which suits the panoramic format really well. I love the light, the dramatic sky and the way you've composed this. The thumbnails don't seem to show panos off to their best advantage somehow (maybe because they lose so much impact when shrunk that small
) and I suspect they tend to get overlooked, but at full size this is a stunner.

Anna
The grasses always add lovely colour to the moorland images.Top stuff mate.

Been a long haul but I think it will all "climax" tomorrow.LOL.

Yep, that works
Excellent image and now a historical record.

Excellent pano Paul. The light is beautiful and the clarity spot on.

Quote: Cheers and optically you could be right Stuart, but if I remember rightly there is a little rise to the left [towards the hills] - the pano crop probably accentuates it a little more though!!!
I figured that might be the case and hesitated before I posted... cracking image anyway! ![]()
