The familiar site of Gormire lake below Sutton Bank. This was my first visit, I only came here with the intention of checking out a few potential comps to come back to another day when the weather and lighting improves, but I couldn't resist setting up quickly to take in this view. This kind of sky reminded me of camille seaman images so thought I would put my recent influence into practice. Check out her work it's quite something.

I agree with you in that the lighting could've been better especially that the pov is perfect. However, that cloud looks very ominous and makes the image a great one!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Still a very powerful yet ever so beautifully capture and thought provoking image.

Thanks you all for the kind comments. It's more skyscape than landscape so light on the land was not imperative. I was tempted to crop into a panoramic by losing the bottom 3rd, but felt it needed the lake for scale.
