I can't bring myself to pick these little blooms, so I always seem to do my flower shots in situ...in spite of the messy background. I just love natural images, I guess. It all seems to tell the tale better than isolating one.

Well arranged flowers in a vase always look lovely; flowers in their own habitat always look spectacular, as in deed they do here. These blooms will eventually die back and come again next year, cut flowers just die. This image will preserve the enjoyment of these particular blooms indefinitely.

I never ever pick flowers for my shots, they have taken all that time to grow and give pleasure. I do admit to removing errant twigs and leaves!
Lovely colours.

Maybe an unusual botanical scene, quite typical of this year, with species flowering at the same time that don't normallydo so!? All been captured beautifully here Joline.

I agree with you about flowers au naturel, Joline. Also, you get to go back and admire them in the garden the next day...and the next. Besides, they look so happy there Smile

A really beautiful image, Joline, and like you I love to see flowers shot in their natural setting, I never cut any flowers, as they last so much longer on the plant ... Carol Grin
