Well I said I'd be uploading shots different to my more usual images, so here you go what do you think of this? Grin.........Thought I'd get some use out of my rarely used wide angle lenses and have a trip over to the Brecon Beacons to try my hand at waterfalls. What I didn't realise was just how bloody painful this type of photography could be!......Just gotten back on my feet after a really bad flare up with my spinal problems, so felt the need to get the hell out and about at last, only for me to slip over and nearly break my chuffing leg. I went a complete flyer and got completely soaked through to the skin trying to get this bloody image, it probably wouldn't have been so bad had I not successfully tried to save the camera which was in my hand at the time.....So if you can imagine this great big fat bloke sat in the river with his camera held aloft, cursing the air till it was blue with a whole load of expletives! then you'll have a much better picture in your mind than this image.....Grin

What was really funny though, was the fact the Sue the wife came with me and she did it twice!!!!.....LOL......But rather cleverly she only banged her elbow and wasn't carrying her camera at the time. What's more she had a change of clothes in the car, I had to drive back to Somerset soaking bloody wet.

Been to the local cottage hospital this afternoon and apparently I've only really badly bruised my leg, they ain't kidding, it's black and blue from the knee halfway down to my ankle. My prides taken a helluva knock though! Tell you this much, it was a good job no-one had a video camera there.....They'd have earned an instant £250 on "You've Been Framed"

So there's the reason behind the title, hope I've given everyone a good giggle and you enjoy the image?.......Good job I can see the funny side of life eh? GrinGrinGrin

A superbly composed and exposed shot of this waterfall. I may be visiting this area in the not too distant future so I'll take great care if I attempt any shots of fast flowing water!

Poor old you!! I've just been catching up and read about your back (no wonder you were swearing!). Glad to hear you escaped with wet clothes and bruised dignity (chortle). Grin

A gorgeous shot, I love the colours and the waterfall has been caught just right! Smile

Good on you for saving your camera--- I mean, just how bad would it be to not to have saved it?
Image has a nice misty feel to it, was it cold as well as damp?

Boy does that conjure up a picture Ade, think you better stick with the Moths, god knows what state you'll end up in otherwise.

All that said, it's a pretty good image.

Regards

Terry.

Great image Ade - I won't say it was worth the agony mate as it sounds as though you went a real pearler(and nothing is worth that). However, your write-up did make me laugh!! Hope you are getting over the aches and pains.
