A view from my balcony - Lava

Lava is a small hamlet in the Northern part of West Bengal in India, situated at 7,016 feet (2,138 m) above sea level. Northern West Bengal is undoubtedly one of the most desired locations where nature is in her abundance, presenting mankind with her changing features with the change in vegetation from tropical deciduous to the wet alpine trees of fir, pine and birch. The weather God plays hide and seek, providing you with an opportunity to enjoy every moment of your stay. Lava is one of the few places in North Bengal to receive snow in winter & I was told that in summer the temperature never crosses 19 deg C.
