Ok I know this is the robin of the landscape world, but I feel I had to get it out.. The result of a trip with a small group of Epz'ers which ended up as a large group.. I think twisleton scar is a place where epz landscapers go to die
Millions appeared out of the gloom.. ![]()
A wildlife tog is such a lonely life..
I had a good time really I was not sure that I would be talked to as a wildlife photographer. But was made welcome. Nice to meet people who are not covered in camo from head to toe (even in a public place) ![]()
Anyway this is the result of my time there.. Got some great advice from SUT68.. Also discovered my Cokin filters looked so small compared to everyone elses Lee's.. Felt like I was in a shower with rather large men ![]()
So the trip has cost me a few hundred quid as I have now had to keep up with the Jone's and buy those Lee Filters ( thanks a lot Paul )..
Hope the shot is not too bad. I went with the storm clouds and not the really good light as the others did as I missed it talking ![]()
Regards Edgar...

You have captured a great atmosphere from the place and for someone who doesn't do landscapes you have produced a top shot!
Detail by the spade load and good composition.
I hope it was a worthwhile investment when you bought the Lee filters and I hope we get to see some more of this sort of work.
Andy

Heh heh ... welcome to the dark side Stew ![]()
Well balanced exposure mate. Fine comp too ... love that foreground interest ![]()
Paul
Wonderful atmosphere, has a certain feeling of desolation.
Nice one Edgar, a bit of a change for you.
Darren.
thought for a few seconds I was looking at the wrong portfolio ![]()
The landscape lot aren't a bad bunch are they?
(I just left them in September to branch out and try wildlife)
Love the atmosphere you have caught here - harsh, barren and stormy
you learn quick Stew
A fine comp and subtle processing makes it a top landscape in my view.

Good luck finding those filters, they're in painfully short supply at the moment ![]()
Good to meet you at the weekend.
David.

yes I have got the holder and adapter but the three filters are on order, with a 3-4 week wait..
