This lot were taken yesterday in Cardiff city centre. The weather was best described as dismal!

The few hours that I was there was to test the Nikon compact really and I'm well pleased.

Mostly shot at 400 ASA.

1: Taken in Bute Park and I've not seen this before so it's new. I was going to move more to my right when taking it but the view is of what I assume to be people assembling the temp building for the annual flower show?

2: Bute Park and castle wall.

3: Sculpture and building. The two people are in the process of setting up an official dispute?

4: Part of a T.G.I Fridays building.

5: I've taken reflections from this building in the past.

6: Building under construction.

7: Another from Bute Park.

8: Another sculpture.

9: An old drinking fountain.

The camera seems to be doing well under your guidance Ken! A fine selection from Cardiff.

An attractive set despite the dismality Tongue
Despite my favouring the composition of V1 I am most drawn to the proliferation of daffodils, both for the colour and for the promise of better days to come - I had to dig the car out again this morning Sad
Small sensors and matte grey skies make a good combination for flowerbed in bloom.
Regards
Bill

V1 is a wonderful opportunity, frame your own image on the spot. I'd like to wait for people to walk into the 'picture'...
V5 my other choice here. Glad to see you're getting the same glorious blue skies as we are...

A pleasure to take the stroll around with you, Ken. The colour and proportions of v2 makes it a front runner for me, but you could have lots of fun with v1.
