Frozen from bank to bank with 4 inches of ice. Surreal to be able to cross this without a boat ! These figures walking towards Castle Crag, we had a good hour on this frozen wilderness.
Rather them than me Ron, cracking image though...............Joe
Awsome shot great use of the long lens!
Excellent shot Ron, a great mood and the exposure just right for the sparkle off the ice, the silhouettes and the layers of mist and hills
Nice shot - thought this was somewhere exotic when I first looked at the thumbnail. You've caught the atmosphere very well.
Wonderful shot Ron -
A cracking shot Ron it's a while since I've seen it frozen this hard.
Absolutely amazing Ron. I was busy with family so missed the real cold.
Lovely aerial perspective...
Certainly looks a cold and desolate place. Great capture of it Ron..........Sandy
I wonder how often it's possible to take images like this Ron? Love the misty distant mountains as a back drop to the figures. Looks flippin cold!
Straight off the Tait bridge and into a winter wonderland.
An atmospheric capture.
Surreal indeed Ron, and good to record these moments for posterity
Fantastic capture with an awesome background.
Fine capture Ron, the long lens has compressed the perspective well for this shot, you feel you are with them.
Thank you all very much most appreciated ! Ron.
