A view from a mountain top - The Bwlch, between Treorchy [Rhondda ] and Ogmore Vale [Bridgend] the scene looks very similar to photos I have seen of volcanoes but it is simpler than that, the exposed rocks are ice age damage and the floor is covering man made damage - colliery sites and coal tips etc.
