The texture is a wonderful effect in this photograph, it really works well with the toning you have given the scene in the conversion. It also mixes very well with the shallow depth of field that you have employed in the composition to give a really ethereal almost painterly type of effect.

Really nicely done. I like it a lot. And it is a great use of what looks like really rubbish weather and light
