I like the scene, V1 of the two, but for me, though I know its your style, the clouds appear a little overdone. I think theres a little more detail in that tree that might help too.

V1 is by far the better effort and the image, typical of your style, is good. Sky is, I think, just a bit overpowering.

I like the composition and I like the colours of version 1. Better detail in this one. Did you think of getting rid of the ice cream sign?
