Again many thanks for the Views, Votes & Comments on my previous upload “Fountains Abbey”
Has to be the colour version for me - lovely!
Colour version for me too .Although the mono runs it very close . .....Phil
Colour version for me three Superb processing of this excellent composition and capture. Carol
I do like this rather a lot. V3, I think, for the late-medieval, just-post-Reformation sense of doom . . .
I don't remember this view of Fountains. I'll just have to go back again and look!
Colour looks good, but surprisingly for me I like v3 best. 'Split tone' - was never sure what that meant.
This was made for mono, it's so gritty looking. V3 for me by a whisker I think, I like the coldness.
At first I thought colour for sure, but now I'm not so sure, ok it's v3 for me but only just it kind of looks old looking if you follow me, and the processing bring out the age in good detail.
Wonderful composition and processing.
I spy Topaz, and very nicely used too. I like all three which is amazing as I am not normally a fan of mono.
V1 for me David, lovely capture and detail!
Colour for me David.
Good rich colours in the stonework there !!
Colour for me too although I do quite like the tones in V3 too!
Photographic triumphs indeed.
A lovely composition and capture, David. I'm not really a fan of split toning, but I do like both V1 & V2, with the V2 mono winning...but only just!
V1 for me David but I do like V2 and V3,lovely work..Lin
Full of ancient interest.
Well composed and taken.
My preference is for the colour version.
Like the light and details in this David, good to see the mono version of this too
Have some of Fountains Abbey myself but missed this POV. Works really well and love the HDR.
