I like your mono comparisons, they always make me think... V3 gives a greater sense of depth to the masonry but I find the cloud a bit distracting. I'll go with V2.

Another fine set, David. It's good to see an unorthodox view of Fountains Abbey - i.e. of something other than the undercroft. The composition here centres on the tension between tower and chimney; while the colour is good it isn't vital to the subject. So I'll go for V2, for Moira's reason.
