When we were in Switzerland we walked over 40kilometers in the snow fields. This gave us wonderful views of the Matterhorn as for almost 2 weeks we had unbroken sunshine.

Very nice landscape. What time of the year were you there, as I would love to visit the area some day.

Dave.

For some reason this mountain fascinated me as a child and is still does although I have never seen it other than in pictures. I like the way you have set it to the left of the frame Ron and captured some good light.

Bert, I would estimate about 10 miles or so. Very hard to guess, it does dominate the area compleatly. Ron.

Beautiful view of this great mountain. I have only seen it from 35000ft while flying elsewhere.
