one of my favourite subjects caught in action. On my screen it looks a touch over-exposed (.5 to 1 stop) but I love the inclusion of that large water drop in addition to the smaller ones. (was it a spray job or had it rained?)
One I would be happy to shoot
A great photo!
I'm envious too.
A superb shot.
A great Macro shot:
What a great capture! Steve.
It is a bit over exposed, which is a great pity. (You could have easily corrected that - is you screen set a bit darker) Otherwise, it shows how a macro shot should be taken, sharp and clearly defined.
Wonderful image! Very well presented. Good work.
I love this photo.
Nice command of the depth of field, the way the background is blurred to blockout "noise" that could distract the viewer.
The eye go directly to the subject, the insect.
Aiding in this is the twig, how it also directs the eyes of the viewer to the subject insect.
The rain or dew drops add value and if I may say even texture as they help direct the viewers eye.
Last but not least I enjoy the color combination.
Very impressive combination of techniques, congratulations and thanks for sharing this photo.
Exquisitely done, a perfect macro composition.
