Contrary to popular belief, Team WASP don't always get great light [though we do get our fair share] Smile ... but when you've got a fabulous foreground like that at Elgol presenting itself to you, it'd be rude not to take some shots of it Wink

Cheers for making it thus far and also a big congrats to Neil [Javam] & his lovely wife Lizzie for becoming parents again early this morning.

Catch up soon,
Paul

Excellent Paul.

How's it look in mono? I'm sure you will have considered it!

Colour for me on this one Paul, mono is good but looses some punch and detail, IMHO...

Ha ha!
Made me laugh out loud!!

Think I prefer the mono, especially if the blacks were punched up a little more.
But i's a very close race.

Nice one! Grin

LOL , good Smile Although them blacks are black Bill. Do you mean you'd prefer to darken up the shadow regions to give it more punch? That may compromise some of the finer detail in there, but I can see what you mean.

Cheers all,
Paul

I knew you'd say that!
In the interests of modern science I was going to give it a bash (well more of a gentle massage).
Only problem is that it seems to be a gif file! Weird or what! I wonder if the techie gurus know?

Beautiful scene and love that eerie cloudy water.
Colour for me - where I'd agree that the mono loses a little punch; seems particularly to lose the differences in tones for the background mountains but the sea feels a little 'flatter' in tones too - maybe darken the blues a bit?
