What a beautiful place Jeanie.Excellent image and view.
Marvellous view, great definition and Dof.
Very nice image with plenty of depth to the shot.
great view you had, Jeanie......
Very nice, the chimney pots do a good job of taking ur eyes up across the image.
Lovely work Jeanie ....
Some good strong colours, I like the horizontal sections going across the image, good work
What a door step!
Great location, Jeanie. Not as far away from Blackpool as you'd imagine though Perish the thought!!
The strong light under a threatening sky is really dramatic. Like this a lot.
You certainly were in an idyllic setting there J......perfect peace.
Excellent clear image of this spectacular view. I might have been tempted to crop the sky a wee bit, its that old thing called 3rds for me, but that is just my opinion.

Perfect crop, lovely image!
Great shot Mrs.
It reminds me of some of the paintings Kim and I saw in galleries when we were up in Skye...and in the local Pink Gallery too when I come to think of it.
Think you've really captured the spirit of the west coast in this.
wonderful light and clarity, a lovely scene,
One of the many places I will be staying at for a week or three during my retirement, I've been given an extra year of my life to spend on photography, I have promised not to squander the time and I won't.
Great moody sky and wonderful colours.
All the very best
PS I do love your new Biopic but you should never hide that happy face of yours.
Thank you Tom, Brian, Glynn, Jouko,Richard, Bert, Iain, Phil, Colin, Moira, Ali, Mandy, Paul, Guy, Chris and Dougie.
LOL Colin, Perish the thought that the tower should follow me !!! Great mods!
Guy, funny you should say that about the paintings on Skye as that is exactly what I thought, I kid you not. Especially Diana Mackie (who loves her "mad light" up on the north of the island) and the artist who is displaying her work at Isle Ornsay. Great minds, eh?
Dougie - I cannot think of a better place to go for retirement... I wish you all the best when you get there but I bet you cannot resist shooting away all the time you are there, as the light and the view changes dramatically every half hour or so!
This is wondeful, Jeanie. It's a brave composition, allowing the sky so much prominence, but I think it works well because its simplicity balances it well with that wonderful foreground. The delicate light is a treat. One of those images that keeps growing on you the more you look at it.
Thanks Ian. Yes, brave, but I wanted to include the sky and it appears to have worked ok. Balanced in the square crop methinks/hopes.
fantastic light Jeanie
Looks like a great location, must get there next trip! The light across the bay is wonderful and those scattered cottages add to the view.
This is lovely.
Thank you Kin, David and Jacqui
You couldn't ask for a better view Jeanie.
...and this was only part of the vast panoramic view we were priviledged to have Nigel
Beautiful isolation Jeanie. Ron.
Nice one, Jeannie. I will have a look at some of your other images another time.
lovely place and image
Great shot Jeanie, not a bad view from the doorstep but where are all the arcades and trashy bars?
Wonderful light and love that sky.
Lucky you! What a stunning view to wake up to...
Fabulous shot. helen
Thanks Ron, Ted, Sandra, Mark, Dave and Helen.
Wonderful, love the framing.
