A very atmospheric photograph Dougie, the mono brings out the type of weather which is typical of Scotland.I love your chosen low viewpoint here and great effect with the long exposure, beautifully done, Bill. ps Thanks for the suggestion with my previous upload, I have tried the crop on the image and kind of like the result, I appreciate your input and advice, many thanks again, Bill.

I didn't spot the cormorants at first, but now I've seen them they seem to dominate the composition, the clouds and rock lines converging on them. Quite extraordinary.

The angles of cloud and rocky promontory draw the eye into and through the picture. Superb composition, Dougie.

Great mono image Dougie. Didn't know you had one of those 10-stop toys.

The mono is brilliant here; I can feel the cold wind coming off the sea!

Perfect use of the 10 stopper Dougie. Mono was undoubtedly the way to go with this as well.

I have almost stopped using filters nowadays, to lazy for it. So it is great to see how they should be used

Beautiful tones Dougie. I used to love doing mono prints back in the '70s and I still enjoy looking at quality mono images.

Phil.
