Superbly composed, very deep and meaningful image.
Tom.
Never shy of leading us out of our comfort zones Victor, here's another thought-provoking and compelling piece...
Dave
Thank you all very much. Sorry id the recent shots are all rather dark just going through one of the phases, promise tomorrow I will upload something more upbeat.
Pareen, the models skin was achieved by and image map of a fungus and damp ridden wall.
Claret (Ian) as good as you would aspect this psycho to be LOL, hope I find you well.
I was just thinking 'powerful' but Janet and the others beat me to it. This perfectly summarizes addiction in my mind. Like a slave beaten down by the drug. I'll have to browse through your latest 3 months worth of work.
Patrick
very powerful syuff. it also make you cringe.... that's a good thing I think.

As gripping as the subject matter.
I often get laughed at when I tell people that the dark toning in my stuff is like therapy, and I'm glad I'm not the only one with that outlet. I'll look forward to tomorrow's, Victor.
Of them all this one imho is best. Should be used by local authorities for anti drugs publications.
ghastly image every parents nightmare! you certainly know how to conjure up disturbing images victor. in the seventies i witnessed too many freinds destroy their lives through using intraveneously injected drugs yet even images like this cannot dissuade some.
gerry.
Thank you all very much and trust the mood of this image did not bring anyone down too much.
Ian, whats sleep!!! LOL
Excellent image, Victor. Painful and very powerful. I particularly like the arranged pose as the complete subject is not immediately obvious and takes a second to 'see' the actual figure, when at first glance it looks to me like a tortured animal. Fantastic work as always.
This is very powerful. It captures so much. Beautiful, gruesome and potent.
Hello Victor.
This is a powerful image. Its meaning is clear, and one I can certainly relate to. Lots of interesting creative ideas going on in this piece too. I am guessing that the over-sized syringes represent the control addiction has over its sufferers.
The different textures on the model's body also work well in conveying a sense of decay. The posture is one of hopelessness. The green toning of the composition works really well, especially with the brilliant use of low lighting.
This is wonderful Artwork my friend.
Take care,
Ken
P.S. - I bought a NIKON D40, although I haven't been well enough to get out to take photos. It feels like a great camera.
brilliant and artistically insipring, been experimented overlaying textures on various objects, and setting the blending mode to hard light, on discovering that it retains the structure of the object beneath, all I need now is a model to wrap some moss around ![]()
