Versions 1 & 3 Olympus EPL3
Version 2 Pentax K-X
really like v2, perfect balance between the poster and the lady.
Three excellent observations, Ken.
Three well seen street captures Ken
Super street photography Ken! I like v3 - he's on one leg and could be in the middle of his routine.
Top class shots once again Ken.
Another set of excellent street scenes.
Love V3! As Ann says - my first thought was that he's about to give us a high kick.
Three superb observational candid each filled with their own story to tell. However i think photograph one hold many possible narratives, and therefore is my particular favourite.
Love them All Ken and glad to see you about mate!
I just love these shots, you do them so well I have not done this kind of work but after seeing your superb captures I am going to give it a go. won't get anywhere near as good as your work but thanks for the idea .
All juxtpositions work so well, narrative in all Ken.
all winners Ken
I like V3, he so looks part of that routine (well the comic part!).
Three fine examples of your knack for catching both the glitter and the reality in a single frame. Excellent as always.
Three great shots like all three, and V3. I know it well, bored how long is she going to be in there! having met an old friend lol. Regards Leon.
Superb Ken . I tried some of this in Newcastle today. They have just gone straight into the bin. It ain't easy.
The cross, the street musician and those fancy clothing--- this holds a strange collection of symbols to the american eye???
I do like the idea of this shot, however there are too many conflicting elements in this photo. In the foregrond, the eye catches the publicity that sets the tone. It is however very bright in contrast to the background organized in what appears to be three parts, the sky and the plant, the pharmacy and the subject. You may have wanted the figure small in relation to the poster, perhaps, but this small? In a constructive way, you might have zoomed in to eliminate something of the poster's frame in order to highlight the background figure. In this manner, you would have better controlled the background. In cases like this, my advice is several shots at at different angles. I hope this is useful to continue taking such interesting pictures.
Another nice candid image..
Well observed street photography.
Superb set Ken - I think V1 is my choice. Great POV and I can't agree with the ' critique ' above - the scale works a treat for me.
Marti Webb...............................Thats a blast from the past!
Terrific set Ken
Three excellent creative captures
