I know this is a little bit different to my usual stuff, but it's been something I've long been wanting to get into. So if you want to know about
portrait photography you can really only ask one person. That's right, me old mukker Paul Ward AKA Park My Ferret. Big thanks to him for the advice and for
the use of his studio.
This is the first in a series of shots of Mel. I was unsure on what to call this photo but got the influence from the set itself. I'm completely new to this
sort of photography so all comments welcome.
1/160sec, f10, 18mm.
Cheers!

love the setting, love the glow, love the tones, love the girl. Koen
Hi Alan, this shot looks great - glad to see it's getting a good response to it too. I thought the day went really well, and I think that using Mel really helped ... she's a great model and very easy to work with too.

Thanks all.
Paul mate it was tops. Got some really good shots that I am delighted with. How did the shoot go after I left?
not too bad, she just wanted a few shots against a plain background ... it went ok, but it was very rushed as the missus was waiting for me. When I finally got home about 11.30 she was in bed and just ignored me! LOL
No, I enjoyed it too and I'm glad you were happy with my first attempt at 'tutoring'.
Oops!
Can you send me my tomato soup up please. In a sealed freezer bag will do.
