I try to vary the subjects as much as possible so this image was taken in Tanzania. Three-banded Plover. A little larger than Kittlitz's Plover and with two distinctive black bands, separated by a white band, across the chest. The forehead is white, the throat grey. and a white line extends from the forehead to behind the nape.The large red ring around each eye. and the black-tipped red bill are conspicuous.This is as taken with no manipulation in Photoshop..jACK

Full circle with those wonderful reflections! Love the light and those ripples in the sand with their pretty blue colouring. Another fine addition to your pf!
