Got up at really silly o'clock this morning to head out and meet Nick_w at Twisleton Scar, but due to circumstances we won't go into now, we had to do our catching up much later on.
I had got myself set up nicely for this and a few other shots, but lo and behold there was some rain in the sky, and a sleight breeze into my face ... not the makings of a good mornings shoot, or so I initally thought. Needless to say, just before the sun started to make an appearance the rain inexplicably stopped for the rest of the morning ... result!!! ![]()
This is one of the early shots before the full strength of the early morning light became apparent. Only 3 stops of grad was needed at this point as the sun was being nicely diffused by the distant mist.
Fran & Beth back tomorrow ... can't wait, so this is my last night of my enforced bachelor status ... note to self, must clean the house ![]()
Was planning on heading over to Salford Quays for the meet tonight, but due to the 2.30am get-up today, I'm feeling a little jaded to say the very least.
Cheers for dropping by, I hope your Easter break is going to plan.
Paul

Tom.
That's a stunner, Paul. That misty distance is magnificent. Really like the slight hue to the whole image, and such a good comp as well.

Beautifully composed to keep the tree against the colour of the sky.
