Got up at really silly o'clock this morning to head out and meet Nick_w at Twisleton Scar, but due to circumstances we won't go into now, we had to do our catching up much later on.

I had got myself set up nicely for this and a few other shots, but lo and behold there was some rain in the sky, and a sleight breeze into my face ... not the makings of a good mornings shoot, or so I initally thought. Needless to say, just before the sun started to make an appearance the rain inexplicably stopped for the rest of the morning ... result!!! Smile

This is one of the early shots before the full strength of the early morning light became apparent. Only 3 stops of grad was needed at this point as the sun was being nicely diffused by the distant mist.

Fran & Beth back tomorrow ... can't wait, so this is my last night of my enforced bachelor status ... note to self, must clean the house Wink

Was planning on heading over to Salford Quays for the meet tonight, but due to the 2.30am get-up today, I'm feeling a little jaded to say the very least.

Cheers for dropping by, I hope your Easter break is going to plan.

Paul

Another terrific shot from a great series. I like the way the rising sun sits in that nook and the way the distant tree kind of mirrors the main tree. Again, a very natural looking yet colourful image.
Inspiring stuff.

Cheers Steve, though this was taken this morning and not last weekend [like the previous uploads]. Limestone and trees ... yeah, maybe there's a theme running here though, LOL Wink

Cheers all, Happy Easter Sunday Smile

It certainly was Charlotte, a bit of a last minute dash in the end and the rain was most unexpected, but a great morning all the same Smile

Enjoy your week off Tom, will keep an eye out for your results Smile

That's a stunner, Paul. That misty distance is magnificent. Really like the slight hue to the whole image, and such a good comp as well.
