Played with this archive shot of the rain drenched tulips in Pshop. The idea of the streaky-ish background to suggest rain; and to try to create some colour impact! Whether it has worked or not ............?! Thank you for looking.

Beautiful spring time image, Lavina: the brilliant orange against the blue makes such a dramatic and eye catching presentation.

A splash of something beautiful, a beautifully composed, crafted, processed and presented piece.

Too bright and blue to give a rain impression, Lavina, but it does make an excellent colour contrast for the orange tulips.

If you were thinking of the rain perhaps a more greyish blue would have worked better but having said that the tulips really are beautiul and if you had fun creating it that's what counts.SmileSmileSmile

Since you've titled it After The Rain, the blue sky is fine, and sets off the tulips nicely. I don't think you needed the rain effect in the sky, though.
