A little tree fights against the elements to survive up on the top of the hill, on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.
To say it was windy when I stood here taking this would be quite an understatement!

A very atmospheric image: the minute I saw the thumbnail I thought of the Yorkshire Moors and Wuthering Heights, but I see it is an image from Skye. Very well composed brooding landscape.

I think that wee tree is on the roadside just north of the Three Chimneys, on the way to Neist Point Light, I may have to eat my hat, but if it's not it's the clone of he one I photographed myself. Not as well as this I might add.
